There is nothing known about 'U'. He/She/They/It just released a 10" on George Fitzgerald's Man Make Music label. Listen to the track 'Eah' below and you'll probably order it immediately here
This is some bodaciously down shit. I'm very very pleased with this sound. All hail 'U'

JUST GO WITH IT!

How often are you pleasantly surprised by a film? I find that whenever i expect a movie to be great, more often than not it is a flaccid attempt by the writer/director to play on the audiences emotions in an effort to make their film resonate with the viewer.
So when i walk into a film not being able to even remember the title of it, i obviously haven't set my bar very high. My cohort and I were furiously trying to remember the title, "Safety not Guaranteed" it doesn't exactly roll off the tongue, yet by the time we left the cinema, i don't think i will ever forget the title of this film again.
Something i find from most of the 2012 films i have watched this year is that they lack heart and genuine emotion, Safety not Guaranteed has it in spades. while i felt that one of the characters was superflous to the story, their own journey was equally as emotional as the main character.
Considering you have probably never heard of most of the actors in this film, it maintains an exceptionally high level of acting, the script never panders to the audience and the emotion is there, take it or leave it.
Basic plot - A somewhat crazy guy places and ad in the classifieds looking for a someone to go on a time traveling adventure with him, safety not guaranteed. (ooooh, they say the title of the film!)
I really don't want to tell you anything more about Safety Not Guaranteed besides go see it, you won't be disappointed.
Lapalux is about to release his 2nd EP 'Some Other Time' on Brainfeeder. It is a beautiful/wondrous/sexy/edible treat. Listen to a few tracks from it below. Then buy it here
Randomer is pretty new on the scene (been round a couple of years). He created that super swell remix of Clouds Consciousness track (also an earlier release on Hemlock)........ then THIS!!! 'We Laugh, We Scream' is soon to be released (October 1) on Hemlock. It is INSANE. Acid, Breakbot, twisted DADDY FUNK. That's it. He's created a new genre of dance music.... DADDY FUNK.
this man is daddy funkin
Boy is this sound a breath of fresh air. Truly boneriffic. BEATBONER of the year below.
This is just the Tits. So apparently this isn't finished yet, a wayward email has enabled this to be posted all over the inter webs, and now you can watch it. Enjoy.
A letter from the creator.
"Hello there!
Haha, that is really rather excellent. I did grin quite creepily when I heard the first TIE sound effect... recognised the AT-AT walking sound too!
I won't ask you to take it down, though I really am trying to keep it low profile since it's rough and unfinished (about 30 people have been helping critique it on the 4chan /m/ mecha board, so it was supposed to be only them seeing it until it was complete, but then it got posted on 109, Twitter etc and flew out of control).
Maybe if you could slap a disclaimer in the title or info, saying how it is completely work in progress?
Thanks for having the decency to ask, as well. You are a true gentlemen!
Feel free to stop by /m/, which is where I'll probably be doing future updates. I've been getting some excellent feedback (this version is the third revision and much better than the first one thanks to comments) from there, and will welcome any suggestions!
This is a great watch after listening to the bliss that is Chilly Gonzales' Solo Piano II. Buy it here if you haven't already.
"Now that you all have a copy of SOLO PIANO II, Chilly Gonzales shares a three part short documentary showing you how the album was made. Director Adam Traynor (Ivory Tower) reveals that purest and most microscopic process of recording which took placeback in December 2011, at Paris’ Studio Pigalle where, alone for 10 days, Chilly Gonzales recorded a handful of songs that had made the short list from a hundredor so melodies written over the eight years that had passed since the release of the now iconic Solo Piano".
Check out this expensive looking narrative driven music video for Breakbot's latest single 'One Out of Two'. His album drops next week!!!!
One out of Two is a solid pop song but this track has got me all excited (see below). Once again the track features Irfane. These two go together like marshmallows and campfires.
If only Frodo had known he could have just gone to the Weta Workshop website, buy a replica of the ring, and leave that pesky Andy Serkis in his cave. Surely the journey would have been a lot easier.
Buy your very own one ring to rule them all.
Forged in the fires of Mt. Doom, which is apparently located a short bus ride South-East of the Wellington CBD, Weta is doing a second batch of one rings for just US$99 which is about $275,000 New Zealand shillings. Get your pre-order in now!
David Firth is one of the most gifted animators/character creators/unique story tellers on the planet. There literally is no one else like him. His short films create a mood that buries itself deep within you and his voice will make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up on end. Enough wank, Firth has just completed another Socks film. This being the 5th it takes on a new animation style which is absolutely gorgeous. Before that though why don't you watch the classic Sock 4: Sock Lops.
Proxy will be releasing his first album 'Music From The Eastblock Jungles' on Turbo 22 October THIS YEAR! After this album was supposed to come out in 2009 it's been a loooooong wait. Anyway below are the infos. I'll try to put up previews as soon as possible.
Real name Evgeny Pozharnov, Proxy hails from Vladivostok, one of Russia's easternmost cities, where he's been making music in relative isolation for years. One his key influences is The Prodigy, who he saw play live in the Red Square years, and whose in-your-face rave aesthetic still colors most of his productions. Proxy's big break came about five years ago when Tiga agreed to release his first record onTurbo Recordings. The Canadian label has been Proxy's home ever since, and will release his upcoming LP (along withDim Mak, Steve Aoki's label, who will release it in the US).
Music From The Eastblock Jungles is due out at the end of October and will be preceded by a single ("Shut Up!") on September 15th. You can hear a full cut from the album over on Proxy'sSoundCloud page.
This has been doing the rounds on Ãœber popular social networking site Google Plus.
1. Go to the Googles by typing www.google.com into google.
2. In the google search bar, type in 'CallHim'
3. Open the first URL that pops up in the Google search results.
It will be a link to a URL called www.megalook.ru

With all these rapture predictions that have been going on over the past couple of years, and many more predicted for the future, as a good Christian it must be hard knowing that your pure soul will be saved by Jesus - but your unbaptised animal pets will be left here on earth with nobody to look after them while they suffer the fiery hell of eternal damnation.
But, never fear! Post Rapture Atheist Pet Care is here!
"We at Post Rapture Pet Care are confirmed atheists and as such will be part of the left behind when the time comes. Just because we are atheists doesn't mean we are not animal lovers. We adore all kind of pets and would love to look after your pets after you are gone."
This is such a great idea.
I'm an atheist, but i'll be too busy having gay sexy and murdering children to give a shit about your stupid cat.
If you wanna stay spoiler free for season two of Homeland don't watch this. However there is no dialogue and it will just get you WET for this terrific show to start up again.
Great choice of song.
Oh and here is the trailer for season 7 of Dexter. Last season was quite mediocre. Although that last scene was enough to get us to keep watching. Sigh.

Buy your very own Iron Throne from the official HBO website, for a mere 30,000 pieces of gold.
Now every peasant can be the one true heir to the throne & keeper of cool stuff.
Not shit. Quite the opposite. But it's sunday so this post about CID RIM is going to be shit. Let the music take you away. Out on LuckyMe now. Great sound etc etc.
The musical genius is back with Solo Piano II on August 27. Let's have a look and listen to some of the upcoming tracks.
If you're wondering what the hell Solo Piano II is then go here and buy Solo Piano. It's just Chilly and his piano making sweet love and sound via his magical fingers.
Childrens Hospital is back this Thursday at Midnight (August 9) on Adult Swim. It's most definitely the funniest live action adult swim hospital comedy series set in Brazil on television right now. Watch the promos below.
Will Farrell and Zack Galifianakis shamelessly promote 'The Campaign' below. It's out this week. I doubt it will be the most on point political satire in the world but I'm sure this film will make me laugh. Plus Jay Roach (Austin Powers Trilogy) is a pretty solid comedy director with a pretty solid track record.
Congratulations Quentin. Wrong will be distributed by Drafthouse for a limited theatrical release and VOD for 2013. To fill in the long void of time before humans like ourselves actually get to see this assumingly wonderfully bizarre film you can grab a couple of tracks (Ronnie [yum Oizo sound] & Resolution [guitars and saxophone!]) from the Wrong OST by click the picture above.
Oizo along with the help of Tahiti Boy (check out his/their Myspace) sound like they've made a pretty fresh sounding score for the film. We can expect to get our hands on it in it's entirety August 27.
After writing 2 articles this morning (one regarding putting humans on Mars, and the second misogynistic dribble about Lana Wachowski), I have decided that in 10 years time, I want to live on Mars. Although I doubt I'll be able to blog from Mars directly, I'll try very hard to send the rest of the writers some regular posts.
To be apart of this momentous occasion, just visit the facebook page here and simply follow. Obviously, we might need your support with more than just giving up $1. It would be appreciated if you could share the page with your friends, and even on twitter!
Mars One will establish the first human settlement on Mars in 2023. A habitable settlement will be waiting for the settlers when they land. The settlement will support them while they live and work on Mars the rest of their lives. Every two years after 2023 an additional crew will arrive, such that there is a real living, growing community on Mars. Mars One has created a technical plan for this mission that is as simple as possible. For every component of the mission we have identified at least one potential supplier. Mars One invites you to join us in this next giant leap for mankind!
After years of hearing some golden original tunes over several EPs Breakbot will be releasing his album 'By Your Side' in late September. Here a nice lil teaser for the album. Have a look see below.
I want Breakbot bobble head now! I can totally see that going on sale at Coolcats.fr
In other Ed Banger news Oizo has released 'Ronnie' on the Soundcloud. It's from his film 'Wrong'. If you dont know what Wrong is you haven't been visiting this site much and should probably rethink your life. The beard collaborated with Tahiti Boy on it. Sounds Clingtastic. A lot of nice real sounds in this track. Apparently the whole soundtrack contains a lot of recorded everyday items. This is going to be a super swell soundtrack. I CAN TASTE IT!

For a while now we have known we were getting another Superman (played by little known actor Henry Cavill) reboot in the form of 'Man of Steel'. Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen, Dawn of the Dead) is at the helm and it could be quite good. But is it going to give us something we havent already seen? Anyways it's out June next year and there's now two teasers up (showing before TDKR) one with Kevin Costner's voice as Jonathan Kent and one with Russell Crowe as Jor-El. Crowe sounds great as Jor-El.
#DKR #DarkKnightRises #TDKR
We have received an exclusive image we believe to be from the final sequence of The Dark Knight Rises. You won't find this anywhere else.
The Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy (also known as the Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy) is a series of films directed by Edgar Wright, written by Simon Pegg and Wright, and starring Pegg and Nick Frost.
The first two films in the series are: Shaun of the Dead (2004), "a romantic comedy with zombies", and
Hot Fuzz (2007), a buddy cop action/comedy film.
A third film, The World's End, will begin shooting in September 2012 for a 2013 release.
Each film in the trilogy is connected to a Cornetto ice cream flavour – both of the films released to date feature scenes in which one of the main characters purchases a Cornetto of the appropriate flavour.
Shaun of the Dead features a red strawberry flavoured Cornetto, which signifies the film's bloody and gory elements.
Hot Fuzz includes the blue original Cornetto, to signify the police element to the film.
And The World's End will feature the green mint choc-chip flavour, to signify science fiction.
The use of the three flavours/colours of Cornetto is a reference to Krzysztof Kieślowski's Three Colours film trilogy.
Below is the teaser poster and synopsis for 'The World's End':
"20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hell bent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King, a 40-year old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their home town and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub, The World's End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind's. Reaching The World's End is the least of their worries."
