This is one to watch out for.
"Bringing three different comedic styles to the TV table, Rushmore's Jason Schwartzman, The Hangover's Zach Galifianakis and Cheers' Ted Danson join forces in weed and wine to give us Jonathan Ames' HBO series Bored to Death. Why are we so excited about a comedy that won't exactly have us "rolling in the aisles?" Because we're big fans of slight and hip alterno-whimsy, and were sure that with all the talent on board with this one that Bored is sure to provide us with plenty of memorable moments and catchy quotables.
Schwartzman plays a fictionalized version of author Jonathan Ames who, while suffering from writer's block, puts out ads claiming that he's a private detective. Ames then actually starts taking on real cases just to alleviate his own nervous boredom. Galifianakis plays his bearded friend and Danson plays his George Plimpton-esque publisher".
