Michigan state University, a University located in the state of Michigan,
is one of the USA's most awesome / bad ass Universities - with an emphasis on providing prospective employers with course graduates possessing useful skills for the real world.
One such course is the seven week intensive diploma entitled:
Surviving the Coming Zombie Apocalypse
Finally! a practical course teaching people things that they will need to know when the zombie apocalypse plunges the earth into the depths of despair.
Thankfully, legitimate Universities are spreading awareness and taking some of the training burden away from zombie-killing supreme-master-overlord, Festy Nickel (who CastleAwesome has reported on in the past, click link here), the poster boy for the Zombie Resistance Underground, an organisation dedicated to preparing the world for the day of the dead, aka "Z-Day".
The course begins and ends with a “Catastrophic Event Simulation” (a Coronal Mass Ejection Incident has caused a Zombie pandemic). Students are assigned into Survivor Groups located throughout the United States and must face the challenges of living and surviving together during a catastrophic event.
In times of catastrophes some people find their humanity, while others lose theirs. What will you and your group do?
